Tony the Tiger (name changed to Incineroar in order to escape the mob) is a Fire/Dark type Pokemon, and the final evolution of Litten, the Gen VII Fire starter. It is based on both the classic manga series Tiger Mask and a heel wrestler.
Incineroar is quite possibly one the most hated Pokémon among hardcore (Read: Autistic) Pokémon fans. Why? Because it looks like a Fire/Fighting type. But it's actually not! Surprise, it's a Fire/Dark type with lots of personality! But does it really matter in the end? It's still a bipedal humanoid fire-type fighter which is grounds to hate a Pokémon apparently. Another reason people hate Incinechad is because they wanted to Litten and they were hoping that it would evolve into a Waifumon so they could say they wanted to it without getting AS weird looks. So when it was revealed that Litten evolved into a Big Bara Beast, they got butt blasted.
Fun Fact! Incineroar haters are a vocal minority. Most people love Incineroar! Particularly Pokémon's target audience, children. Also, the reason there are so many Fire-Fighting starters is because it's a very successful archetype among the not-autistic demographic. TL:DR the only people who hate Incineroar are people who hate winning formulas or want to cats.
Also, its fire comes from its crotch.
Vergeben says he's in so he's in. You better accept it now. He's in. Accept it.
Turns out the only reason why we got this character was because Sakurai wanted to design a wrestler character meaning he was biased.
Maybe the cats we ed were the friends we made along the way
