An Introduction

Afternoon everyone, I am a travelling editor and decided to crash here for some time.

Though I have a few... questions. Just what content is meant to be deleted here? Just how are pages categorized? I've known many communities and have administrated various, but the methodology of categories here are just bizarre and surreal. Pages, too.

Hope someone can help.

Update on deleted pages

So recently, I got some complaints that a number of pages had been deleted without warrant, it was said by multiple users.

So I looked into it closely. I found out that a troll had vandalized those pages horribly, and when I saw them, I deleted them. Anyhow, I have now restored those pages. I undid what the trolls did.

Let me know in the comments below if there's anything else I missed!

how does consent and sex work in the pokémon world?

Miko's Europe adventure

This Friday, I will leave for Europe! Using this magic blog, I will keep you all updated and explain why I'm not on all day. It is a school trip btw. I may or may not be able to provide photos later.

Articles possible for a feature (under the criteria)

I've done a word count using this: https://wordcounter.net to make sure they surpass the 1,200 word goal.

Current Pages that can be featured due to following all the criteria are:

Phoenix Wright

Kidmf935

Also I'm counting the quick info dump at the beggining of a page as a section (so that makes it 5 sections or 4 sections and a beggining blurb to the page)

Find a page you want to feature and check to see if it ticks all the criteria first. If it doesn't improve it! Simple!

Possible criteria for Featured Pages?

1. Must have a good chunk of information. At least 5 different information sections (EG: History, In their home game, in smash, Their fanboys, Trivia) and should account for a total of 1,200 words bare minimum. No you can't add the same word 50 times in a row just to bump up the total amount of words.

2. Musn't be some sort of joke page. The page can be sarcastic but it can't have been made just as a joke.

3. Page should have exist for a certian amount of time. I suggest four months minimum.

4. Page should be neat, as opposed to everything being all over the place.

5. Not REALLY needed but Page should have passable grammar.

Spoiler Alert!

If you can't tell, I went ahead and made some spoiler templates to go along with Miko's delete/rennovate ones. The ones I've already made are below:

If there are any other pages you want me to make these templates for, just say so. They're not perfect. With some of them, they overtake the main picture in the category and related pages, which I'm not sure how to override (if you are, please fix it. That would be much appreciated). I also intend to make one for stubs soon as well.

Out of all the pages, how many are not needed?

As you may know, there are plenty of pages that are just random bits of text that serve no purpose. This is probably not a page but an example of useless pages:

WHO'S GOING TO EAT TODAY? (Title)

I AM LET'S SMASH PLZZZZZZZZZ (Text)

This blog post is where you can bring pages like this to our attention where we admins and such can discuss wether to slaughter or salave it (Sorry I couldn't resist a Caddicarus reference).

That way the Wiki will be a lot cleaner. I hate mess. It's why I want to burn my house down.

UPDATE: Right now I am going around and searching through 'Pages without Links' to see which ones look useless and pointless which makes a good reason for deletion.

Announcing Project Link!

Hey look, yet another project that I'm announcing. How many that I'm not gonna follow up on does that make? Three, right?

I intend to make a page for each and every Link in the near future, and this time I'm gonna stick to it.

That's the good news.

On the other hand, I'm not sure if I'll do anything with derivatives, though. Here's what I mean:

Adult Link. The Link that currently has a page is Twilight Princess Link, and I intend to make Hyrule Warriors Link his own page at some point in the future. I'm still going back and forth on whether to give Adult Link from Ocarina of Time a page, though, since Young Link already has one.

Featured Content (All users, please read this)

So I've been thinking about this for a while. I've gone ahead and updated the character and user to reflect the polls. I'm a bit more hesitant to do so with the featured article and featured media since those aren't polls. So basically, I want to see what the majority's opinion is.

There are three basic options:

Change the featured article or featured media (and vote on what)
Change the featured article and featured media (and vote on what)
Leave the featured article as DIHSO and the featured media as the character gifs.

So discuss below!

Anyone following Roy's Roster Quest/Isaac's DLC Party?

Well, I've made a Wiki about that! Mainly because I'm gonna made a third CYOA once Roy defeats the Final Boss and because I thought it was a good idea to keep track of which characters appear in what story and what the plot is.

But no one has come to help yet and I really need some help! Making character pages would be appreciated if you are following the story, but only make pages of the characters that have appeared in either Roy's Roster Quest or Isaac's DLC Party, ok? You can do everything on a page except the Stats/Growths, that's all me.

I also have no Idea how to make it a lot more fancy with a background and logo n shit so help with that would be nice.

This Wiki still needs fixing and pages need to be DELETED

JB ninja has caused the biggest mess ever. I don't think any of this would have happened if some of the top users on here were mod-ified, we would have prevented so much distruction.... I hate seeing the wiki all messy like this with a dozen useless pages that were made in the chaos... It's not neat and tidy and I hate it, and that's why I hate living in my house!!!

A Pokemon from OR could belong to YOU! (More info inside)

I have planned to do several runs of OR (Omega Ruby), Naming each pokemon after someone from a selected theme. The first theme is... SmashFAQs! Enter pokemon you want to be named after, and If I decide to Catch one, you shall be named after it! And once I complete my Run, before restarting, all Legendaries caught will be traded to my Y and the pokemon named after you shall be traded to you in exchange for a shitty pokemon (Basic stage AS exclusive would be appreciated). The horribly written fanfic that was never finished.

WTF happened to the user info boxes?

All the infro went missing, and the pictures did too... It should not be a problem to fix but I am just wondering on WTF happened to em...

Edit: I Just checked mine and all the info is put in but it isn't showing up... I changed the info a bit and re-put in the info but it's still broken. And it isn't like this for wanted newcomers boxes. Does ANYONE know what went wrong?

Ignore the URL, I can't change it. It was originally meant for the older kids of moshi monsters who were constantly getting modded and were getting tierd of the moderators shit. And those moderators NEVER GAVE A REASON TO WHY THEY MODDED YOU! I think those mods are friends with the GameFAQs mods.

I plan to change it when I have the money to do so.

This will not replace GameFAQs, it will just give us a place free of super serious mods.

If you join, you will become a mod ASAP. You don't have to tho.
