GameFAQs Super Smash Bros. Board Wiki

The GoddessRosa1inapocalypse was an event that took place on July 6, 2014, and July 7, 2014. Unlike June 21 and June 22, this event saw forced alliances between the greatest of enemies to take down a huge, cumulative threat...

July 6th, 2014[]

In the early hours of the morning, the first few accounts started popping up. They were mock ups of GoddessRosal1na, and they would discuss newcomers such as L1ttle Mac and V1llager, or they would discuss Rosaline and Rosal1na. Later on in the day, Phase 2 started- they combined their inspiration's gimmick with someone else's.

Apocalypse 1

July 6- the goddesses arrive.

July 7th, 2014[]

The mock-ups came. You couldn't go a page without seeing at least five topics combining a familiar gimmick with some form of laughter and fonts. The board was thrown into utter chaos. Suddenly, the unthinkable happened- the users began begging for the help of the mods. In a shocking turn of events, the users were forced to form a truce with their mortal enemies! Later on, The Temple of Xod began making a plan, and the users started realizing that they'd need to team up with their other mortal enemies as well. However, toward the end of the day, as the mods slowly purge the boards of the goddesses, the Temple changed its plans, and it showed the consequences of victory- due to a failure to instil order, the boards were now in chaos. The Carlisle Elitists had won, but it was a hollow victory.

Apocalypse 3

July 7- the fall of GameFAQs.

July 8th, 2014[]

The remaining users slowly crawled out from under the rubble. The goddesses were gone, and with them, their owners. The boards became a wasteland, albeit not one totally uninhabitable- nay, it was time for a new beginning- the second coming of the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U board.

Apocalypse 2

July 8th- the survivors discover a new world.

The Goddesses[]

Many goddesses combined gimmicks of multiple accounts (one of which, of course, being GoddessRosa1ina's). Some examples:

The Perpetrators[]

A lot of users who made the goddesses are unknown, thus making them karma houdinis. However, some are known. Despite being known, some escaped the IP block/ban, while others ended up in purgatory. Some examples of known users:

Quotes on the Subject[]

It was bad when you were reporting topics that us users enjoyed.

Now, though, none of us like all the GR clones and trolls.

Hope is dead. Kill me now. The boards have fallen.

I got banned for a couple of days and now eight hundred Goddess mock accounts are being made. What is going on?

—A confused Shaneikua.

It's only slightly tier than usual. It is GameFAQs, after all.

—DemonicDragonair

This is all Rosal1na's fault. Curse you, your italics AND your giggling!

—A hate-filled Mikokiri.

Epilogue[]

The goddesses gone, the board started to return to normal. However, a few, such as GoddessSakura1, have still managed to survive.
